When young Kumhar got to Kolkata, people stared at the tiger’s tooth and the scars on his face and arms, and began to whisper: “Surely this is Raj, the fearless wrestler of tigers!”

The Prince soon heard of it, and commanded that the young man be brought to him. When Kumhar was brought to the palace, the Prince asked him about the tooth and the scars.

Then Kumhar told the biggest lie of all. “I got the scars and the tooth just this morning when I wrestled a fierce tiger!” He said.
